Don't Let the World Roll You
Don’t Let the World Roll You
A Stoic-Stoner riff on Romans 12:2
Romans 12:2 (KJV)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The world wants to roll you like a joint — twist your thoughts tight, light the fuse, and keep you burning for someone else’s show.
Don’t be conformed. Chill your mind. Renew it with nightly reckoning, morning discipline, and slow, honest reflection — the steady stuff that refines rather than numbs.
Transformation isn’t a trick — it’s a practice. When the mind is cleaned and calmed, you stop swallowing the smoke and start seeing the shape of a better will: good, steady, and true.
“Don’t conform to the smoke. Become the fire that refines it.”
